Dr. Caroline Upwood
DVMDr. Caroline Upwood is a new veterinarian at Watson’s Friends. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science (Pre-Vet Track) from Rutgers University in her home state of New Jersey, where she also competed as part of the university’s equestrian team, even making it to Nationals in her senior year.
Dr. Upwood went on to pursue her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University, completing her clinical year at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine.
Having recently relocated to Florida, she is excited to finally live in the Sunshine State, drawn by its’ warm weather and vibrant lifestyle. When she’s not caring for animals, Dr. Upwood enjoys spending time with her spirited horse, Toby, who is also adjusting to Florida life with plenty of enthusiasm.
In addition to her veterinary career, Dr. Upwood is an avid photographer, a nature lover with a passion for hiking, and has a goal of visiting every National Park. She’s also a big fan of spending quality time at Disney World.
